Located at the edge of the village of Sentaraille on a very quiet road approximately 4 kms northwest of the market town of St Girons and 2 kms from the fortified roman town of St Lizier, Florivalier makes a wonderful base for exploring the mountains while remaining accessible to a number of major towns and cities, such as Toulouse, the walled city of Carcassonne, and the medieval town of Mirepoix. The exciting city of Barcelona is about a 4 hour drive away with both the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts even closer.

Florivalier experiences all four seasons, with each one offering something special. Spring comes early, summer lingers hot and late. Autumn is surprisingly warm with magnificent changes of colour. Winter is short with cold, crisp days, clear blue skies and warm sun.

Outdoor activities are in abundance all year round with something for everyone, from walking to skiing to paragliding or simply relaxing in the sun.

Florivalier has 4 large en suite comfortable bedrooms, each capable of sleeping up to 4 people.

The large dining room is open plan with lounge area which leads onto the terrace where you can relax with an aperitif before dinner.

The 3-course evening meal is traditional French, based on local dishes using home-grown produce. Cassoulet, foie gras, duck, coq au vin are some of the dishes served with local cheeses and wines.
